First Fever

Mummy: Schuyler had his very first fever today.

Caught in action

Mummy: Caught Schuyler going under the table. I wonder what attracts him to go under the table....

Sit with support

Mummy: Schuyler can sit with the support of his hands. Look at his smile and you can tell that he really prefers sitting to lying on bed.

Camera not shy

Mummy: Recently whenever I tell Schuyler that I want to take picture, smile, smile, he will smile at the camera.

Baby Bites

Mummy: Since Schuyler is 6mths old already. I decided to try feeding him with Baby Bites.

Happy sitting on walker

Mummy: Schuyler likes to sit onto the walker as he can move around as he like. I would say he's quite fast on "walking" on walker. The first time when he sit on walker, I can see that he don't know how to make himself move or the most moved backwards. And the second time I see that he can move forward already.

Knock head game

Mummy: My dad introduced this game to Schuyler. It's actually just to say "knock head" and knock gently onto Schuyler's head. And I'm surprised when I got back home and tested him on this game, he still remembers this game. When I said "knock head", he actually lean his head towards mine!

Porridge

Mummy: Today he finally can finish all the porridge in his bowl. And for snacks, they had pureed fruits. He also managed to finish all up. Good boy!

Porridge

Mummy: The childcare will be trying out to feed Schuyler with porridge today onwards. Today's menu is Pureed carrot with fish porridge. Sounds yummy. As expected, he wasn't used to the taste so he didn't finish the porridge. I'm sure it will take some time for him to adjust to the taste of porridge.

Mummy: It's almost 12 midnight and Schuyler is still not sleeping. And he gave me a very lovely smile. End up this image has been on my handphone as wallpaper for months. :P

First Karaoke Session

Mummy: Brought Schuyler for a karaoke session today. This is his first time entering KTV place and I'm worried that he might find it too noisy and make noise. But luckily he behaved very well.

5mths old

I'm 5mths old today. Daddy & Mummy brought me to Marina Square to see Barney. But who is Barney? I'm not interested. Anyway just a photo of me to show how I look like when I'm 5mths old.


Daddy and Mummy each bought me a top. I'm growing bigger so they have to get bigger top for me. Though I'm just 5mths old, the clothes they bought for me are meant for 12-18mths old baby.

My First Overseas Trip (19-22 Nov)

Mummy: Brought the kids for a short trip to Genting. We drove up and luckily Schuyler and Chloe were quite manageable during the 4 to 5hours of car ride. To summarise, I know Schuyler didn't had much fun as he was still too young for the rides etc. But he should enjoyed himself by having me to look after him 24hours round the clock for 8 days. Let the photos do all the talking.. :)

New Pyjamas

Mummy: Bought these 2 sets of pjyamas from JB for Schuyler. Find it so cheap so I bought them. 1 set costs RM$12 only!

My First Sentosa Trip

Daddy & Mummy brought me and 姐姐 to Sentosa Palawan Beach today. And of cos I didn't had much fun at all as I was still too young. Mummy tried to let me dip inside the water but I cried cos it was so cold. So end up Mummy had to bring me back to the pram, and she and Daddy had to take turns to look after me and 姐姐.

姐姐 scold me

It's time for me to sleep but I din want to sleep. Got a scolding from 姐姐 because of this. 姐姐 scold me NAUGHTY. :(

Sitting on walker

My first few attempts to sit on the walker. Feel so good as I don't have to lie down on the bed all the time and I can get to see more things.

Bolster

Mummy: Something which I realised... Schuyler knows how to hug a bolster! And seems like he enjoys hugging the bolster especially when he wants to sleep.

Cereal time

Daddy said he wanted to let me try on rice cereal today. He put me on 姐姐's high chair while he went to make the cereal. I'm so happy cos I'm trying out new food today!

Arcade

Mummy: I thought arcade is too noisy for Schuyler. But I'm wrong! He fell asleep in about 2mins time after we stepped into the arcade. I guess he's too tired...

B-O-T-A-K

I'm BOTAK!!! Daddy and Mummy brought me to shave my head... I look so super chubby and like a monk now! My head looks very round hor?? Alot of aunties crowd around the barber shop and look at my shaving head process. Why they so KPO??? In order not to disappoint them, I din cry but I try to put on a smile throughout the whole shaving head process.


Daddy washed my head and showered me.

Shit up???

Mummy: After passport collection we went to Bugis Junction for shopping. Daddy bought quite a few stuffs. While Daddy went to queue up for payment, he spotted that Schuyler's romper is dirtied, asked me if someone has accidental spilled coffee onto his romper. The only thing that came onto my mind is he passed motion!! I quickly brought him to the changing room inside Seiyu.
To my horror, his romper is very stained with shit!!! If the legs/thighs area kena stained, I can understand, but the thing is even his waist area also kena.. and he was all along sitting in the pram, yes sitting, not lying down at all. I asked hubby, can I just throw the romper away.. anyway it's already tight fitting+ so damn dirty. But hubby said, "Ralph Lauren leh, you want to throw away meh?"

Anyway I lost count how many pcs of wet wipes I used. I went to the basin and try to wash the romper, put hand soap and rubbed the romper. At least it don't stink, but left with some stains. Got to go home then wash more thoroughly.

Passport collection

Mummy: Daddy took off day to bring Schuyler to collect his passport. I metup with Daddy and Schuyler after my work, had a fast lunch then we proceed to ICA building for passport collection. There's 126 people in the queue, so many people. But luckily we only waited for about 1hr. The officer just want to see Schuyler's face, I thought need Schuyler's thumbprint to be saved inside the chip found inside Biometric passport. But no need, it's just like the past passport. But the passport photo turned out to be black and white colour instead.

The malay lady who served us asked how we pronounce Schuyler's name as she never came across this name before. Hubby's fault again, he wanted unique spelling.. :|

Another morning photo taking session

Mummy: Hahaa.. today I tried to take pixs for Schuyler again. I wanted to capture his smile. And I succeed!

4mths old

I have turned 4mths old. I have become more chubby and heavy! Now I love to put my hands into my mouth, and I drool alot, my first tooth should be out soon.

Daddy and Mummy intend to bring me shave botak when I turned 4mths old. So I think I will be botak soon... my hair... my tai mao..

Baby talk

Mummy: Recently Schuyler likes to talk continuously non-stop. I managed to video down his a short portion of his baby talk. (Somehow I'm not able to upload to youtube these days, will try to upload again.)

Choosy

Mummy: Teacher Hasna told me that Schuyler tends to be choosy and only certain Teachers can carry/feed him. She said older infants tend to be choosy, they have their own preferred Teachers. But Schuyler is far too young to be choosy. There's one particular Teacher which Schuyler don't like and that teacher is Teacher Imah. He cried when she tried to carry/feed him.

Early morning...

Mummy: Every morning when Schuyler woke up, he will show me his lovely smile on his face. So today I decided to take some pixs cos I seldom take pixs for Schuyler. Managed to take some pixs but Schuyler didn't smile at the camera. Find this pix very funny cos Schuyler gave me a super shocking look.

Baby chair

See I can sit on the baby chair. Opps but I better don't get caught by 姐姐 cos the chair belongs to her. Mummy said she will be investing in another baby chair for me. So I can sit on the baby chair and have my cereal and porridge in few mths time.

First flip

Mummy: Schuyler had his first flip done at a friend's house. I wasn't able to witness it cos I was attending to Chloe. Hubby placed Schuyler on the sofa while he was watching dvd. Then when he was doing a spotcheck on Schuyler, he realised Schuyler had already flipped on the sofa. Bravo boy!

6-in-1 Vaccination (2nd jab)

Mummy: It's time to bring Schuyler for 2nd jab. Daddy applied for child sick leave and brought Schuyler to the clinic. During the injection, Schuyler cried but not for long.

Strong boy

Mummy: Schuyler can flip over when I put him lie down sideways. Teachers said he's very strong and always want to lift up his head and body. And they also said, when I just came in, I was smaller in size as compared to Mattew (who was 3days older than me). Now I have overshot him, bigger in size, longer also.

Petty Boy

Mummy: Today Teacher Wei Wei commented that Schuyler has grown fatter and upon hearing this Schuyler cried very loud. I din know Schuyler is such a petty boy, can't take such comments :P

My Passport Photo

Daddy and Mummy brought me to take my passport photo today. Do I look cute? :)

Shopping @ Bugis

Mummy: Today we went to Bugis for shopping. We were in the lift, then a primary school boy came into the lift with his parents. Schuyler smiled very happily to the boy, the boy just gave him a shock + blur look ("Why you smile to me so happily???").

Heads up

Mummy: I put Schuyler to lie down on his stomach. He's trying very hard to lift up his head. I have to give him such training occasion to train the muscles at his neck area.

From this pix, I really can tell he has put in all effort to lift up his head.

Happy Children's Day

Happy Children's Day to me! I received 2 gifts, 1 from the infant care and another one from Teacher Imah.

3mths old

I'm 3mths old today. Teacher Hasna said she hasn't seen me for few days and I have suddenly grown so big. She also said my nose doesn't look that sharp as before cos my face has become more chubby.

Watching TV

Mummy: I was busy with housework so I put Schuyler at the rocker facing the TV, hoping the TV can entertain him abit. Well, he really enjoyed himself cos he was responding to the TV, talking non-stop!

Mooncake Festival

This is my first Mooncake Festival celebration but I'm too young to celebrate. I can't even hold on to a lantern. Although grandma bought me a lantern, it was too girlish for me. :P So I let 姐姐 play with it. Looking at 姐姐 playing with Riko they all, I felt so bored. I can't join in the fun with them. :(

Increase in milk intake

Mummy: Have requested the teachers at infant care to increase the milk intake from 120ml to 150ml. Schuyler had 4 times of milk at infant care and he's able to finish 150ml every time! This means I should have made the request some time ago.

Sharing stickers with me

姐姐 wanted to share her stickers with me. And this is how she shared it with me.

Blister

Mummy: Teacher Hasna told me that Schuyler's got a blister near the anus cos he pass motion too many times. Poor boy, I better bring him to see doctor tomorrow.

Passing Motionsss

Mummy: Schuyler has been passing motion very frequently these two days. I don't know if it's normal or it's diarrhea. He will pass motion during/after drinking milk. So everyday he will pass motion like 5 or 6 times. From what I know it's common when they are still newborn, but now he's 2mths 2wks old. Moreover I'm not breastfeeding him, I thought he shouldn't be passing motion that frequently. The output is not alot, slightly watery. I have already seek Teacher's help to monitor. Hopefully it's just normal bowels.

2mths & 2wks old "neo-print"

I'm 2mths & 2wks old. Mummy said it's been some time she took photo for me. So here's some photos she took:

A talk with Teacher Hasna

Mummy: Had a talk with Teacher Hasna to check with her how's Schuyler coping at the infantcare. Teacher Hasna said Schuyler is a very strong boy as compared to the rest of the babies cos he always want to lift up his head and legs while lying down. The muscles at his neck is also quite strong. And he loves to talk. Teacher Hasna said once she started talking to him, he will talk non-stop. He always fell asleep while drinking milk, but once you put him to the cot, he will wake up. I told Teacher Hasna that Schuyler has been sleeping at 7.30pm these 2 nights, she said poor boy, must be feeling very tired. But sleeping well and eating well is very important to babies, it will help them to grow faster.

Sleep on stomach

Mummy: Teacher Hasna said today they tried to let Schuyler to sleep on his stomach(instead of back) and he can sleep better & longer. But to sleep like this, they got to monitor him carefully in case accidents happen.

Second Day @ Infant Care

Mummy: Today there's slight improvement, Schuyler managed to nap for 45mins. The teachers at infant care said Schuyler seem to be able to recongise me, cos when he sees me he will smile happily. And he loved to talk, babbling makes him super happy!

Milestones

Mummy: Haven't been keeping track of the milestones of Schuyler, what he can do/achieve. Recently I noticed that he's able to lift up his legs high up and kick vigorously. He's also trying to lift up his head when he's lying down. And nowadays he love to put his mitten into his mouth and suck. His mittens are always soaked with saliva!

p/s: Still have not seen him flip over, but I know it's just a matter of time.

First Day @ Infant Care

Mummy: Today is Schuyler's first day at infant care. While we are on the way there, I told Chloe that 弟弟 will be going to school together with her, asked her to take good care of 弟弟. She replied me, "Oh... OK!". Blur me forgot to bring along the pacifier and I had to walk back home to bring the pacifier to infant care.

Went to fetch Schuyler and Chloe around 6:15pm, Schuyler just had his 2nd shower at infant care. Teacher passed us a booklet which states what time is his shower, milk intake time and quantity, sleep. Teacher commented that Schuyler is a light sleeper. The longest nap he took was 30mins only. Poor baby.

Drinking milk together

Everytime I drink milk, 姐姐 will also want to drink milk together with me. Mummy took a photo of us drinking milk together. Let's see if we look alike.
